"Treading Softly" Original oil painting, 6" x 6"
SOLD!
You may not know it, but I am an early riser...usually between 4AM - 5AM is my wake up time. When I wake up, I get up and get out to the studio for some work. It's in the quiet time that I seem to work my best. And the BEST mornings are when I have already chosen four or five concepts, and I get to just jump into paint with both feet....well, not literally. I do use a brush in hand!
I've painted lots of roosters and hens in the last few years, and I never tire of them. I love their structure, with all their plumpness showing in the angles and their wispy fluorescent feathers. They always brighten my morning! So, while they come into the day treading softly, I try to hit each day with a BANG!
